Evan Bourne Fighting Against Adversity

ENGLISH:

I made this poster to be part of a Get Well Soon package for Evan Bourne, that was organized by the website evan-bourne . com , soon after his accident in March. Unfortunatelly, this couldn't be included in the pack, since the convocatory was for Get Well Soon cards, not for giant posters.

This was planned as a card, but excessive and exuberant as my imagination is, I couldn't stop and the illustration began to grow bigger and bigger, till finally it grew into a massive poster (this is an small size).

Now, let's talk about monsters. They are the things nightmares are made of, and believe me, they are not fictional at all. Monsters are real and they live among us, surrounding us, patiently waiting for a distraction with the sole purpouse of hurt us, and rip off a bite to our flesh, blood and bones.

Would be great if monsters could be as recognisable as in the movies, with long fangs and slimy membranes, but most of the time they wear ingenious disguises that make them look vulgar and harmless. This however does not make them less deadliest.

2012 has been a hellish year for Evan Bourne, who not only has had to deal with his terrible injury, complications arising from his accident (he even had a bone infection, for God sake!) and physical therapy, but with venomous reporters, speculations, personal attacks, crazy stalkers, gossips, bad omens and a lot of stupid people on internet that writes offensive messages to him. Oh, and the fucking memes. Jesus Christ, I hate those stupid memes and their imbecile authors more than it's possible to say. Just imagine how is living with all this crap above your shoulders! It's enough to drive you insane.

And he's giving up? NO. He has remained strong and optimistic, training hard and giving the best of him for returning to the ring.

WOW.

AWESOME and ADMIRABLE.

I'd like to know how many of the assholes who attack him have the guts for deal with the half of this problems, or face all of this with a pinch of his strenght, integrity and optimism.

So, this is an allegory of how I see Matthew Korklan, a.k.a. Evan Bourne: brave, strong, powerful and unbeatable, fighting against adversity in all its monstrous forms.

Maybe Evan Bourne has not won an individual championship yet, but hell, Matthew Joseph Korklan is A REAL LIFE CHAMPION.

Hice este poster para ser parte de un paquete con mensajes de "Aliviate Pronto" para Evan Bourne, que fue organizado por el sitio web evan-bourne . com poco después de su accidente en marzo pasado. Por desgracia, esto no pudo ser incluido en el paquete, ya que la convocatoria era para tarjetas, no para carteles gigantes.

Esto empezó como una tarjeta, pero tengo una imaginación excesiva y exuberante, asi que no pude parar y la ilustración creció hasta convertirse en un cartel enorme (este es un tamaño reducido).

Hablemos un poco de monstruos. Son las cosas de las que están hechas las pesadillas, y créanme, son reales. Los monstruos existen y viven entre nosotros, a nuestro alrededor, esperando pacientemente a que tengamos una distracción con el proposito de lastimarnos y arrancarnos un trozo de carne, sangre y huesos.

Sería perfecto si fueran reconocibles como en las películas, con membranas pegajosas y dientes largos, pero la mayoría de las veces usan disfraces que los hacen parecer vulgares e inofensivos. Y sin embargo, no son menos mortales.

2012 ha sido un año infernal para Evan Bourne, quien no sólo ha tenido que lidiar con una lesión terrible, con complicaciones derivadas de su accidente (incluso tuvo una infección de hueso, por Dios) y terapia física de recuperación, sino además con periodistas venenosos, especulaciones, ataques personales, acosadores psicópatas, chismes, malos augurios y un mucha gente estúpida en internet que le escribe mensajes ofensivos ¡Imagínese cómo es vivir con toda esta porquería sobre los hombros! Suficiente para volvese loco.

¿Y él se ha dado por vencido? NO. Se ha mantenido fuerte y optimista, entrenando duro y dando lo mejor para volver al ring.

Increíble y admirable.

Ya me gustaría saber cuántos de los idiotas que lo atacan tienen las pelotas para hacer frente a la mitad de esos problemas, o para enfrentarlos con una pizca de su fortaleza, integridad y optimismo.

Asi que, esta ilustración es una alegoría de cómo veo a Matthew Korklan, también conocido como Evan Bourne: valiente, fuerte, poderoso e imbatible, luchando contra la adversidad en todas sus formas monstruosas.

Quizás Evan Bourne no ha ganado un campeonato individual todavía, pero chinga', Matthew Joseph Korklan es un CAMPEÓN DE LA VIDA REAL.
