Max Steel and Elementor Magma - inks

Esta fue la última pieza de arte conceptual que hice para el proyecto del cómic de Max Steel. Fue planeada a colores, pero Mattel canceló el proyecto justo cuando terminé de entintarlo y la ilustración quedó incompleta. Es una lástima, porque estaba disfrutando con esta.

El fondo fue planeado para ser hecho en acuarela, con los personajes coloreados por computadora. Aquí, Max está descendiendo en las entrañas de un volcán, con Elementor medio sumergido en lava fundida. Está basado en el paquete doble "Elementor Magma Attack". Probablemente me decida a terminarla cuando tengo algo de tiempo libre, pero es difícil para mí retomar un trabajo que hice hace tantos años.

This was the last piece of concept art that I made for the Max Steel comic book project. It was planned to be colored, but Mattel canceled the project when I finished with the inks, and the illustration was left incomplete. It's a pity, because I was enjoing with this one.

The background was planned to be made in watercolor, with the characters colored by computer. Here Max is descending into the bowels of a volcano, with Elementor half submerged in molten lava. It was based in the double pack "Elementor Magma Attack". I'd probably decide to end this illustration when I have some free time, but is hard to me continue with work that I made so many years ago.
